100x Engineers

Am I afraid of AI replacing me? No, but I am afraid of engineers like Rui Silva, and Artur Teixeira (and some others I know) eating my lunch.

Jokes aside...

These were previously 10x engineers. I've seen them work. They are amazing. Learn a lot from them.

And lately I've seen how they are working with AI, and let me tell you. Awe is a good word for it, a bit scary maybe. They leverage it like crazy.

I am happy that I can learn from them, and extra happy that I own a tiny bit of a company one of these 100x engineers is building and adding value.

There is a lot of uncertainty, but companies and individuals that learn and integrate these tools are gaining massive advantage.
